The Restaurant in practice
Opening hours of the restaurant:
- Breakfast (reserved exclusively for hotel guests) from 7.30 am to 9.30 am
- Lunch from midday to 1.15 pm
- Dinner from 7.00 pm to 8.30 pm
- As a priority, the tables on the terrace are reserved on booking for hotel guests and people arriving in the beginning of the service.
Opening days of the restaurant:
- From July 4 to August 27, 2023: open every day, closed on Monday and Tuesday noon (Tuesday evening service with unique menu 35€ , on reservation).
- Easter to October (excepted July and August): closed on Monday and Tuesday (dinner only for the hotel guests on the basis of a reduced proposal, upon availability).
- November to Easter: closed on Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday, excluding special weeks-ends (Christmas, New Year, Easter, …)
Annual closure: 30 October (inclusive) to 21 November 2023 (inclusive) and four weeks in February.

Family and business meals
In order to organise receptions and banquets near Avranches, as well as for all your private or professional events (communions, christenings, anniversaries, end-of-year festivities, seminars, etc.), the Auberge de la Sélune offers the opportunity to privatise one or two of the restaurant dining rooms.
In order to help you to organise your event, we recommend that you start by checking availability for the desired date, and then make an appointment with us in order to study all aspects of your proposal (menu, drinks, rooms, etc.).
We are unable to organise weddings because we wish to guarantee the tranquillity of our hotel guests. In addition, we do not have a dance floor.

Wine list
The Auberge’s wine list is also well worth a look, with about a hundred references. A lot of them are organic wines.
Beyond the selection it offers, it will surprise you by the very reasonable prices available for its very high quality vintages.
And, to take your pleasure even further, your host, Patrice Girres, not only enjoys learning about wine, but also enjoys tasting and selecting the wines from his wine list which are best suited to the dishes served by the Chef.
